Forum posts from ancient history, live on. Eww…

An update from a post more than 7 years old?

One might notice how I try to use otherwise unidentifiable contact info …

The lesson? How many forums have you subscribed to and then posted questions to? Or participated in. According to the settings, you’ll get updates.

As I encounter these, I access the account (usually with a password reset) and then either terminate it, or change the email address to a dummy (I have a couple I use for these purposes and testing, etc.)

Bear in mind these are also a part of your digital footprint.

Be safe out there!

(By the way I still have two of these cameras and they work great.)
